"Grassholm" was built for Trinity House in 1970, under the supervision of their own surveyors, as a seagoing pilot vessel, capable of handling the heaviest of weather. The hull is very strongly constructed of 2” teak planking on oak frames at 12” centres, doubled from the water line to the keel.
