Heavily built MFV in sound condition, totally refurbished and converted for comfortable living aboard. A seaworthy and safe boat with an economical and reliable Gardner diesel engine.
Mechanical Systems
Located in separate engine room/workshop with full standing headroom:
Main engine: Gardner 6LXB six cylinder 180hp diesel engine. Electric start. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Shaft drive to fixed pitch three bladed propeller. Hydraulic pump runs windlass, capstan winches and autopilot. Gilkes pump runs fire hose, bilge pump and holding tank pump out.
Auxiliary engine: Ford 4117 four cylinder 110hp diesel engine powers hydraulic pump for bow thruster and two wing manouevring propellers (self feathering).
Generator: 9 kVA diesel genset with Simpson Lawrence pump for fire hose and bilge pump.
3000 litres fuel capacity in twin tanks giving approximately 1700 mile range at 7 knots cruising speed. Maximum speed under power 9 knots. Duplicate engine controls on flybridge.

4 x 150 Ah 24 volt batteries. 2 x 180 Ah 12 volt batteries. 240 shorepower system. Immersion heater. 2500 watt inverter.

Built in 1942 by Nordby of Denmark. Oak planking on grown oak frames. Long keel. Keel hung rudder. Hydraulic wheel steering. Centre wheelhouse. Substantial bulwarks. Laid pine decks.
