Fortuna in our opinion is presented in excellent condition having had a vast amount of money and time devoted to her to bring all the equipment up to date.
She is well suited for long distant cruising being economical to run, or could be used as a live aboard boat.

Mechanical Systems
Two Mermaid Majestic 180hp six cylinder diesels which have been maintained on a regular basis.
Coupled to shafts and fixed three bladed propellers.
This will give a cruising speed of 12knots and a maximum speed of 19 knots.
Re built port and starboard Turbo Chargers
New battery boxes
Stainless steel fuel tanks with a capacity of 90 Gallons, which have twin in line filters each enabling separation in cases of emergency via separate valves.
Both engines were rebuilt last year, the heads were skimmed, new injectors. Pumps serviced and core plug heaters installed.
Morse single lever controls at helm and on flybridge.
The boat has been recently fully re wired throughout.
Blowers fitted to the engine compartment to increase and circulate air during cruising.
New engine room floor fitted.

Construction
Built in 1980 by Marine projects with white hull and superstructure.
The current owner has had extensive works completed to the hull.
This involved peeling back the old GRP and once treated the vessel had two layers of clothe applied and then re gel coated with Blakes SFE200 and finally re antifouled. This was carried out in 2005 and should give many years of protection.
All fittings to the boat outside are of high grade stainless steel.
