Mechanical Systems
Located in insulated engine box, B.M.C 4-cylinder 1.8l 38hp inboard diesel. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Morse type single lever controls with electric start. Shaft drive via Hurth 15-2R gearbox to fixed 3-bladed propeller. Stern gland greaser. Vetus plastic fuel tank. Revcounter, voltmeter, ammeter, temperature and oil pressure gauges.



2 x 12v Batteries (new 2005) charged via engine alternator. Cabin lighting.

Construction
Built by Varne Marine in 1975 to a Duncan Stuart design and fitted out by Solent Rigging Services in 1976. White grp hull with white grp coachroof and deck with blue Trakmark non-slip surfaces. Alloy toe rails. Cast lead shallow fin keel with bulb. Tiller steering to balanced rudder. Self draining cockpit and anchor well.
