Neptunus Yacht 56 Open Sport Neptunus Yachts has a long tradition of building quality yachts for the pleasure boater. Started in 1969 in Holland, Neptunus' history is steeped in the tradition of Dutch boat builders that has survived for centuries. In 1989, Neptunus Canada was started in St. Catharines by the Dutch company. The North American Free Trade Agreement, the strong local boat building industry and access to the Great Lakes and various canals all made the choice for locating in St. Catharines a good one. From that beginning, Neptunus Yachts has grown to employ nearly one hundred skilled workers and has built over 100 yachts. Today, Neptunus Yachts produces four Flybridge models and two Express models, all designed by leading marine engineers and architects. In addition, the company is continually developing new models as it focuses on meeting the needs of their customers. Neptunus has a goal of building rugged yachts which combine European flare with North American spaciousness. Now locally owned, the company is focused on providing its customers with many years of "happy boating".
