Propeller protection: The fitted skegs protect the propellers and the rudder blades, thus completely ensuring the trawler's water tightness and safety during impact at sea or running aground. Seclusion of engine zones: The engine rooms may easily accommodate a generator and additional equipment may be easily accessed from the outside. Standard direct line engine type with a tow press display grid Overall security: All functions (engines, tanks, gas/oil/electrical circuits) are lined. Bows with spray rails: Designers, Joubert/Nivelt, have created a very intricate stem, with a deflector and spray rails, that eliminates spray and decreases the stem wave on the sides. Important freeboards: Thanks to the dual hulls, the Cumberland 46 offers exceptional stability, allowing Joubert/Nivelt to increase the hull freeboard. The Cumberland 46 is a real high seas boat.
